All environmental services for this project were provided including:
Phase I, II, III environmental site assessment
Building asbestos and lead paint surveys and abatement plans
Soil and groundwater management plan and environmental specifications
Construction monitoring related to soil and groundwater management issues
The environmental portions of the project were under budget. An important cost savings aspect of this project was the reuse of excess urban fill from the site at an off-site location in accordance with the requirements of CTDEP's Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs).
This included the design of a reuse plan and obtaining CTDEP's permission under the RSRs. The soil reuse activities were inspected for compliance with the plan.
